Singing is a workout

Singing is a good exercise for the elderly, disabled and injured. Even if you are fit and healthy, you exercise your lungs when you sing with appropriate singing techniques. And while you're singing, you breathe in more oxygen than other types of exercise, so singing can increase your aerobic capacity and stamina.
